Data

1. Has the data been processed to preserve true amplitudes?
2. Have any processing steps been taken that seriously reduce the relative amplitudes, e.g. short gate agc?
3. Does the data have a good signal/noise ratio?
4. Do you understand the phase and polarity of your data?

5. Have you checked your phase and polarity assumptions against known hard or soft reflections? 
6. Are multiples potentially a problem?
7. Has your data been correctly loaded, i.e. no clipping?

Modelling 

1. Is the input rock data valid for modelling the prospect, i.e. same depositional environment, overburden etc?
2. Have the log data been quality controlled ?
3. Is shear wave data available or are you using empirical relationships such as Castagna's Rule?
4. Are you modelling a single interface or the log data?
5. Have you modelled non success case scenarios?
